How it works
“nest miles” is where a traveler and a property owner find each other and put terms in writing. The lease is between the two of them — we are not a party to it, and we do not hold anyone's rent or deposit.
Renting to a stranger usually means taking their word for it. Here, a guest cannot sign a lease until their professional license has been confirmed as active with the board that issued it — not submitted, not self-reported. Confirmed.
The confirmation isn't ours to give. It comes from the licensing board's own records, checked in real time through a verification service. “nest miles” simply refuses to let a lease be signed without it.
Property owners confirm their identity too, through a document check run by our payments provider. That document is never sent to us, and we never store it.
Fees
No listing fees, no subscriptions, no charge for messaging or searching. A single fee, once, when an agreement is actually reached.
